CREDENTIALS:
Nursing Education & Experience: Marcia earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Roberts Wesleyan College. Marcia is clinically active and has over 30 years nursing experience with over 23 years in PACU/Recovery Room nursing. She has spent over 10 years reviewing medical records for documentation and performed many medical records studies for quality improvement. Marcia analyzes nursing care and reviews medical records on a daily basis. Marcia also has experience in intensive care unit nursing, orthopedic nursing, and general surgical floor nursing.
Clinical Certification: Marcia obtained her CAPA certification in 2010. This is a Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nursing certification from The American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses Association. Marcia is currently certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Legal Nurse Ceritfication: Marcia has completed a rigorous legal nurse consulting certification program from the Vickie Milazzo Institute. Nationally recognized by attorneys, the CLNC® Certification is the official certification of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (NACLNC®). Marcia also has a legal assistant diploma and has law office experience.
